WHAT IS TECHNICAL ANALYSIS

WHAT IS TECHNICAL ANALYSIS?

Technical analysis is considered the study of price movements.

One of the oldest examples of references relating to technical analysis could be found in Joseph De La Vega’s accounts that dwelled in the Dutch markets in the 17th century which means that the main principles that technical analysis is based on dates back to hundreds of years ago. In Asia, Homma Munehisa was perceived the man who developed the technical analysis method back in early 18th century. Today we use the Japanese candlestick patterns in the industry and these patterns are tracing back to his principles.

In the modern times, the technical analysis context is way more complex and one even can make a full time career only by studying the concepts. However, if you get rid of the core principles that mostly cover the test of time, the rest is about hypothetical assumptions and actually isn’t beyond just theories.
