First things first

Let’s start with the name… Ana Capital. What’s that all about?

When it comes to small talk, I’ve never been a great talker. Before I start retelling you my life story, allow me to explain you the meaning behind the name “Ana Capital”. “Ana” is a respectful way of saying older brother in Sri Lankan. I’m not from there, but I had a colleague who had a younger sibling who was always calling him “Ana”. Not long after, instead of the term “bro”, I started using “Ana” instead. You wouldn’t believe how it stuck, everyone around me was using the term “Ana” too. When I was thinking of what to name the company, well let’s be honest, what else? We will be the older brother in finances you never had. The meaning of our name reflects the message it carries… and it feels like a great point to start with!
